The Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City is a spectacular attraction for those who are fond of wildlife. Utah’s Hogle Zoo is an amazing 42-acre zoo situated in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is also one of the largest animal parks in the United States. It houses numerous animals from different ecosystems around the world. It is currently located at the head of Emigration Canyon. Because it is located within the boundaries of the park district, it is strictly regulated and cannot possess any non-native animals or even insects. Non-native animals can include venomous snakes, scorpions, alligators, and several species of birds which are protected within the state. The only exception is a certain type of polar bear that is protected because it is considered to be an endangered species. Although the zoo offers numerous species of marine life, it is only accepted by Utah’s Fish and Wildlife Division if it is certified as a marine park.
